My name is J Bartley Whiting.  I have lived in Southeast Idaho for the majority of my life.  I am an author, an outdoor enthusiast, and an aspiring pro-staff fly fisherman.  Having worked in health care for over 20 years I have seen all walks of life bear the burden of disease, chronic pain, and a general loss of self. 

 

My mother and father had been married for over 50 years before my father's passing.  Their relationship was so strong that my mother continued to visit my father multiple times a week even after his memory had entirely been erased.  My mother is still active and living life to its fullest.  She will be forever grateful to the staff at the memory home where my father lived out the last 2 years of his life with dignity and comfort. She would like to give back to as many caregivers as possible.
